In this class, we will be using the class blog to extend class discussion into virtual space. You will have two entries published on the class blog during the semester. You will be published in the same batch with the other students on your team.

When it is your turn to do a blog entry, you will use the writing you have done in class as the basis for your blog entry. You will want to edit this writing before submitting it for publication in the form of a blog entry; the instructor will probably insist that you do so. Remember, you are being published and your entry will not only be accessible to all the students in this class, but also people all over the world, on the world wide web.

The basic structure of the blog entry is a thesis statement, followed by a paragraph that develops your thesis statement into a short argument. For more instructions on how to compose your argument, consult the “Arguments” page on this blog. The paragraph should be 5-7 sentences long.

Your blog entries should be emailed to the instructor as an attachment. It is also good to also paste the text into the body of the email in case there are any problems downloading the attachment.

To find out when it is your turn to do a blog entry, check the class syllabus.

Blog entries are due on Wednesday at 10pm and will be published by Friday of that week.
